Deaglan McHugh.

Deaglan McHugh is an Attending Medical Oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). He is a Trinity College Dublin Graduate (2009) who completed his Medical Oncology training in Ireland through the RCPI before being awarded the Irish Society of Medical Oncology (ISMO) Advanced Oncology Fellowship award in 2016 to undertake a fellowship at MSKCC (2018-2020).

After fellowship, Deaglan was appointed faculty member within the Genitourinary Medical Oncology department at MSKCC. In 2022, he was appointed to MSK Ralph Lauren Center (RLC) in Harlem and, in addition to cancer treatment of patients here, hosts support groups and is involved in health fairs to improve education and access to next-generation therapies for underserved communities. Deaglan has published in a number of high-impact journals and received various awards including Merit Awards at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium.

His research focus is primarily within localized high-risk and oligometastatic prostate cancer, in addition to Germ Cell Tumor de-escalation strategies.
