Dr. Richard Moore.

Consultant Radiation Oncologist with a special interest in Brachytherapy .

Dr. Moore has experience as a consultant radiation oncologist in Cork University Hospital following completion of his training in 2019. For his fellowship, he trained in thoracic and head and neck malignancies in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, over 18 months, prior to returning to Mater Private in 2021.

Dr. Moore’s higher specialist training (HST) in radiation oncology was completed in Ireland over five years within the St Luke’s Network in Dublin, and a year in Galway University Hospital Radiation Oncology Department. He graduated from the Faculty of Radiology in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2018. Prior to that, he graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons graduate medical programme in 2010, and completed general medical training (MRCPI examinations) as part of his basic specialist training prior to radiation oncology.
